MAGNA SUSTAINABILITY In 2003, when we founded the first bilingual school of Environmental Engineering and obtained the Bellwether National Education Award. We were clear that sustainable development would be part of our reason for being. In 2007 we designed the sustainable development center in Virginia, and in 2009, we participated as Hispanic consultants in the creation of the United States green building code.

Later, representing Colombia before the OAS, we designed the rehabilitation of Haiti in 2010, a project that received recognition among the two thousand most sustainable projects in the world. Then we created in Colombia the first award for construction sustainability in Latin America in 2011 after being certified as Green Advantage in the USA, both in residential and commercial.

With the opening of the Hispanic Center for circular economy and one green stop, the first online marketplace for sustainable construction products in the USA, we managed to open our way to 2030. To this, we currently add the construction of our own projects, where we seek to obtain the maximum benefit from materials and resources for society, uniting the principles of sustainable construction with those of the circular economy, LEAN construction, and BIM in a single umbrella known as our concept of maximum value.

Finally, this 2022 we come to the creation of the first academy for small business initiatives specialized in the renewable energy sector in Texas, known as Gosoltex, and the dedication of Magna Group Canada to green nitrogen and its applications.

MAGNA CONSTRUCTION is the axis of our projects and businesses. With the opening of our construction company in 2005 and the focus on building disruptive projects, we started our journey with dozens of customized residential projects, passing to highly complex constructions of French Timber Framing & Scribing, which is to build in wood without a single nail. In these processes, because it is exact, we entered the BIM world in 2006, being the first Latin company in the area of ​​the capital of Virginia to implement its use. In this growth process, we go through renovation projects of historical monuments, where we model in 3D, among them the third oldest court in the USA, maintaining the construction techniques with which it was built in the eighteenth century. With our federal experience, we achieved the highest level builder's license in the Washington, DC, area. In 2010, Our department of ​​engineering and architecture led us to develop designs for hybrid construction processes, developing the Malazi project for the reconstruction of Haiti, designing housing complexes with maritime containers, coming to be considered, in 2010, among the 2000 most sustainable projects worldwide by the Holcim Foundation.

With our alliance with SDC, the most relevant sustainable consultant for the US government, our projects entered the world of sustainability, creating a unique combination of BIM and Green designs, which led us to participate actively in the green building code.

In 2022 culminates with our tiny housing proposals, as our institutional response, to the most significant global trend in construction, which is the use of space. Our houflex company can reduce the owner's use of his housing area with only half of the building one.

Our future lies in developing women in construction, which is why we created WOPCO, the first women-only construction company in the USA, and the construction of social housing solutions with 3D printers, in our Houses for a reason initiative. We continue to train our Hispanic community by bringing EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, PLUBISHING the first book in Spanish for the CAST certification in math for construction.
