Our commitment to sustainability began in 2003 with the founding of the first bilingual School of Environmental Engineering, for which we received the prestigious Bellwether National Education Award. From the beginning, sustainable development was a core element of our mission.

In 2007, we designed the Sustainable Development Center in Virginia, and by 2009, we contributed as Hispanic consultants to the creation of the United States Green Building Code.

In 2010, representing Colombia before the Organization of American States (OAS), we led the post-earthquake rehabilitation of Haiti, a project later recognized among the 2,000 most sustainable initiatives in the world.

In 2011, after earning Green Advantage certifications in both residential and commercial construction in the U.S., we launched Latin America’s first sustainability award for the construction industry.
